7 points to consider for handling payments for small jobs

7 points to consider for handling payments for small jobs

1. Translating a few words at a time is much more time-consuming than if they were part of a longer project.

2. Minimum payment is at standard practice today.

3. Always charge a minimum fee for small jobs (less than 100/200 words).

4. After doing several small jobs for a client over the month invoice the whole lot together.
5. Above could be ok if the client sends small jobs on a regular basis.
6. For clients promising regular small jobs you may charge a lower min. fee
7. Never bother with bids that include a must-do sample text. (It is my view, other people may like to do sample texts with a hope that client would come back with bigger jobs!)

Universal Library

With the arrival of the internet, trend is that that
any information that is not on-line and accessible to
search engines may become unavailable or unusable.
Moreover, in a thousand years, only a few of the paper
documents available today will survive the ravages of
deterioration, loss, and outright destruction. Hence,
there is an urgent need to preserve all knowledge and
heritage in digital form.

So the idea was to store in digital form all the
knowledge ever produced by the human race and making
this content available free of charge to be browsed
and searched by anyone, anywhere and at anytime. Read
the full story of Prof. Raj Reddy's Vision of
Digitization of all Human Knowledge -
